About Your Role
As a Staff Specialist in Anaesthetics, you will provide expert clinical care and leadership across a range of surgical specialties at Redland Hospital. You'll work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate patient care.
Your Responsibilities
Delivering high-quality anaesthetic services across diverse clinical areas.
Supervising and mentoring registrars, junior doctors and medical staff.
Supporting education, training and quality improvement initiatives.
Participating in the on-call roster and extended hours as needed.
Contributing to clinical governance, safety, and service development.
About You
You are a motivated and collaborative Anaesthetist with a passion for clinical excellence and education.
Your Skills and Experience
Specialist registration (FANZCA or equivalent) with AHPRA.
Proven experience providing anaesthesia across a broad range of surgical specialties.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach.
Demonstrated ability to teach, mentor and support clinical staff.
Commitment to continuous professional development and service improvement.
Ability to contribute to a positive, safe, and respectful workplace culture.
