Position
Working in a dynamic team environment, the Finance Systems Support Officer provides the front line support to the University's finance systems and assists in the coordination and management of business process and technologically driven change, help desk support, delivery of training and the optimum use of information technology (IT) as it applies to Finance and related information management both within and external to the Finance & Business Services Division. .
Key Responsibilities
* Provide advice and hands‐on support to users of finance systems, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
* Participate in the Finance Helpdesk and deliver timely, professional support to system users.
* Deliver user training and maintain system documentation, user guides and digital self‐service resources.
* Investigate and analyse user requests and contribute to improvements in business processes and system functionality.
* Support the implementation, testing and deployment of system enhancements, including participation in user acceptance testing.
* Assist with maintaining system security, access controls and data integrity in line with University policies.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including the use of automation, analytics and AI‐assisted tools to improve service delivery and user experience.
About You
* Experience supporting enterprise finance or business systems in a complex organisation.
* Strong problem‐solving, analytical and customer‐service skills.
* Ability to develop and deliver user training and clear system documentation.
* Interest in adopting emerging digital technologies, including automation and AI‐enabled tools, in a responsible and secure manner
