The Role
This diverse position involves managing project estimation and delivery within the insurance building industry. You will ensure works are completed on time and meet quality standards.
* Manage project estimation and delivery

* Oversight of operations and growth
* Build and maintain relationships with clients
* Ensure a constant stream of work
* Manage a team of estimators, supervisors, and office staff
* Monitor team performance and be involved in their work
* Develop solutions to address performance gaps or predictive risks
* Anticipate talent needs and ensure effective performance
* Compile reports, including financials and growth
* Drive new ideas and systems
* Invoicing and debtor management
* Ensure all work conforms to OHS requirements
* Travel around the region as required
Selection Criteria
* Varied background in the building and construction industry
* Carpentry qualification or builders licence
* Ability to lead and motivate a team
* Experience managing multiple construction projects
* Background in the Insurance Building industry ideal
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Strong relationship building skills
* Ability to manage competing priorities
* Empathy for client needs
* Sound work ethic and high computer literacy
* Understanding of OHS practices and legislation
* Current motor vehicle licence
