Join our team as a Territory Manager and take charge of a dynamic portfolio within Gladstone, Rockhampton, and surrounding areas. You'll be responsible for profitable growth, customer retention, and expanding our presence by actively seeking new business opportunities and maximizing value from existing accounts.
Responsibilities
* Become the trusted face of BOC for your customers by building strong, long-term relationships based on knowledge, reliability, and service.
* Grow your territory by generating and converting leads, maintaining a healthy sales pipeline, and securing new business on strong commercial terms.
* Drive profitability through smart price and contract management, increasing zone density, and identifying product opportunities.
* Collaborate with a supportive team, sharing insights and contributing to local and regional success.
* Champion safety for yourself, your customers, and your colleagues by living our strong safety culture every day.
* Keep learning and developing, building your technical expertise in welding, cutting, and gas applications.
* Travel across Gladstone, Rockhampton, and surrounding areas, taking ownership of your territory and customer relationships.
Qualifications
* Experience in sales, account management, or business development, ideally within the industrial or welding sector.
* Technical understanding or interest in industrial gases, welding, or related products highly regarded.
* Strong selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with a customer-first mindset.
* Sharp commercial awareness and a focus on delivering profitable growth.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence to influence and challenge thinking.
* Proactive, results-driven, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
* Competent with Microsoft Office and CRM systems – Salesforce experience a plus.
