We are looking for a Process Improvement Analyst to join our Analysis and Improvement team. In this role you will analyze mining data, collaborate with customers, and provide actionable insights to improve load haul processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage with customers in a highly collaborative and consultative capacity, understanding their onsite requirements and constraints, and produce actionable outcomes.
* Effectively communicate complex data findings to mining clients, identifying trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement through comprehensive data analysis.
* Develop customer presentations that communicate data insights and improvement recommendations.
* Collaborate with CR internal stakeholders to provide data analysis insights that support sales objectives, pre‐sales analysis, and sales demonstrations.
* Develop reports summarizing data analysis.
* Maintain accurate documentation of analysis methodologies, datasets, and outcomes.
Qualifications
* Experience in data analysis and developing key insights and recommendations that deliver tangible outcomes.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Specific experience with SQL and Python.
* Ability to travel to customer sites across Australia.
* Confidence in public speaking and presenting to technical customers from the CEO level down.
* Degree in Bachelor of Engineering (Mining, Mechatronic, Mechanical, Process, Software, Electrical) or Bachelor of Computer Science (Data Science/Data Analytics), or similar.
Preferred Experience
* Strong proficiency in data visualization tools and statistical analysis software.
* Mining experience with an understanding of open‐cut mining specifically truck & shovel/load haul practices.
* Experience leading and executing improvement initiatives, translating ideas into feasible, customer‐focused plans.
* Experience with Power BI and/or Tibco Spotfire.
* Experience with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
