We are seeking a driven and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead our food safety and quality systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain the Food Safety and Quality Management System (FSQMS) in line with HACCP, SQF, and customer standards.
* Lead internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is current and compliant.
* Oversee compliance with FSANZ, labelling regulations, and food safety legislation.
* Lead QA team in inspections, raw material checks, and in-process monitoring.
* Drive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
* Manage product non-conformances, including recall/withdrawal procedures.
* Champion continuous improvement across quality systems and food safety practices.
* Collaborate with production, maintenance, and procurement to proactively resolve quality issues.
* Track and report on key quality metrics to the executive team.
* Lead, coach, and develop a team of QC officers and technicians.
* Promote food safety and quality awareness across all departments.
* Deliver training on GMP, allergen management, and quality standards.
* Investigate and respond to customer feedback.
* Liaise with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet specifications.
* Support product development trials and shelf-life testing.
This role reports to the Head of Technical and Quality.
