The Role

We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic Manager Corporate Services (MCS) to join our team. As the MCS, you will work closely with the Principal to manage the strategic and day-to-day financial, physical and human resource aspects of the school's business operations. You will ensure that effective financial administration of the school's business operations is delivered, including financial planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting to ensure achievement of the school's strategic and corporate financial objectives. You will ideally be a flexible, reliable, strategic financial leader with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work independently. The MCS is involved in implementing the school's Business Plan and changes necessary for the progression of our priorities.

Responsibilities

* Manage the strategic and day-to-day financial, physical and human resources aspects of the school's business operations in collaboration with the Principal.
* Deliver effective financial administration, including financial planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting to achieve the school's financial objectives.
* Develop a strong team ethos within the Administration Team and contribute to the school's Business Plan.
* Lead a team of school support staff and ensure governance, reporting and compliance with relevant legislation and requirements.
* Support infrastructure management, maintenance and works projects as part of the school's priorities.

Qualifications and Experience

* Strong established financial management capabilities; experience in budget preparation and applying financial and accounting practices.
* Excellent written and interpersonal communication, and negotiation skills.
* Experience in leadership of a team and in providing high-level human resource and financial advice.
* Understanding of relevant legislation, reporting and governance requirements related to the role.
* Experience in infrastructure management, maintenance and works projects is advantageous.

* Demonstrated experience in customer service and leadership of a team.
* Demonstrated ability to provide high-level HR and financial advice for business and marketing plans.
* Demonstrated problem solving and risk management skills with the ability to deliver innovative solutions.
