This position will suit a mid-level professional ecologist with:
* several years of biodiversity consulting experience
* strong flora identification skills for bioregions across southern NSW
You will have:
* ecology consulting experience, including environmental impact assessment, reporting and monitoring
* experience planning and leading ecological fieldwork, especially targeted threatened flora species surveys
* a NSW BAM assessor accreditation, or have interest in becoming accredited with our support
We manage multiple biodiversity assessment projects at any time, with technical design, assessment and reporting undertaken by a team of ecologists and overseen by an accredited biodiversity assessor. We have a very collaborative workplace based around our offices in Albury, Crookwell and Wollongong.
This position is available for full-time work, but part-time hours of 25+ hours pw will be considered. We offer genuine flexibility around hours and location, office‑based or hybrid work, and support by a collaborative team environment.
This role is intended for ecologists who are looking to consolidate their skills, take on greater responsibility, and continue developing within a supportive consulting environment.
