Job Title: Mechanical Trades Person
The role of a Mechanical Trades Person involves maintaining a fleet of aviation refuelling vehicles and related equipment on and off airport premises.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting preventive and corrective maintenance on aviation refuelling vehicles with precision and efficiency.
* Swiftly identifying and diagnosing faults and malfunctions to minimize downtime.
* Performing repairs and replacements of faulty parts and components in a timely manner.
* Maintaining accurate records of all service and maintenance work carried out, ensuring transparency and accountability.
* Effectively communicating with team members and stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and mutual understanding.
* Maintaining a high standard of customer service, delivering exceptional results and fostering strong relationships.
Requirements:
* A background in a mechanical trade such as Fitter, Toolmaker, Mechanic, Auto Electrical, or Ex-military is essential.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting and independently, leveraging self-motivation and time-management skills.
* A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing circumstances, ensuring continued growth and development.
* A current driver's licence and the ability to obtain an Airside Driving Licence and Aviation Security Identification Card are mandatory.
