We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pastry Chef – Junior to join our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight of pastry production across multiple service areas.
* Collaboration on menu development and contribution to high-performing team dynamics.
* Training, mentoring, and supervision of junior pastry staff to support skill development.
* Monitoring stock levels, coordinating ordering, and maintaining seamless kitchen workflow and prep schedules.
* Maintenance of food safety, hygiene, and allergen management protocols in line with industry standards.
Requirements:
* A pastry chef with proven experience in a similar environment preferably within the hotel industry.
* Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent trade qualifications.
* Strong understanding of food safety requirements including HACCP and workplace health and safety (WHS).
* Proven ability to manage staffing needs plan and delegate tasks and motivate the team to meet daily objectives.
* Service-oriented with a keen eye for detail and excellent time management skills.
