Fire Response Specialist
The role of a Fire Response Specialist is critical to ensuring the safety of people and property across a region. The specialist will be responsible for responding to fire and emergency incidents, promoting community safety and emergency preparedness through education and training.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to fire and other emergency incidents in a timely and effective manner
* Promote community safety and emergency preparedness through community education activities
* Develop and maintain competencies by actively participating in regular drills and other relevant training courses
The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with emergency service providers and the general community. A manual C class driver's license and Australian permanent resident status are also essential requirements.
Assessments will be conducted on the following leadership and management behavioural competencies: Performance through Vision, Performance through Results, and Performance through Accountability.
