Job Summary Description/Responsibilities:
- Proficient on recipes, ingredients, raw materials and their function
- Effective solution provider and problem-solving skills

- Good knowledge on flavor legislation in the region
- Able to identify technical resources needed for reactive customer projects
- Closely follows up on projects, making sure they are executed on time
- Strong ability to link customer needs to IFF's capability and technologies.
- Able to identify flavor opportunities with customers and provide feedback internally of product gaps in our portfolios
- Promotes, participates and supports Category aligned initiatives
- Contributes to the strategy of the business, the local execution and positioning with customers
- Fosters the use of new materials and technologies from the Innovation programs, gathers critical feedback from team for continuous refinement
- Able to lead customer working sessions, strong ability to listen to customers and deliver on their expectations
- Able to lead the design solutions based on customer feedback and anticipate customer taste preferences
- Works to build customer network through customer interactions at product trainings, working sessions, presentations, and industry events
- Sets project and team priorities to ensure timely execution
- Passionate about developing people, coaching, strategy, management, and leadership
- Able to attract, develop, engage, and retain talent. Strong ability to work well with others and resolve conflicts
- Execution of teams' development plan using SMART objectives and personal aligned with Category and business objectives
Requirements:
- BS degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science, Food Engineering or related disciplines
- Minimum 10 years' experience in food, pharmaceutical, ingredient or flavor industry
- 2 or 3 years exposure to interdepartmental cross-functional team roles (leader, participant, manager, etc.)
- 5 years in the specific field of expertise
