Job Opportunity
This role is based at the Royal Hobart Hospital, which is Tasmania's largest hospital. The hospital oversees various healthcare services across the state, including district hospitals and ambulance services.
The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting a wide range of general radiographic examinations, including fluoroscopic, mobile and theatre procedures. They will need a broad knowledge of, and competence in, relevant anatomy, physiology and pathology, as well as good interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues, supervisors, managers, patients and the public.
To succeed in this position, you will require a strong understanding of imaging principles and practices, including ionising radiation safety protocols. You will also need to stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in medical imaging technology.
