ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a commercially minded, relationship-driven Business Development Manager to help expand our market presence across Sydney and beyond.
If you enjoy being out in the market, meeting business owners and decision‑makers, and helping them improve the way they use technology, this is the perfect role for you.
This is predominantly an external-facing role, but you'll also manage a portfolio of existing clients, giving you the opportunity to deepen relationships and continue delivering value.
You'll drive new business, build strong long‑term relationships, and represent MicrotechDPS with professionalism, confidence and integrity.
As Business Development Manager, you will:
1. Drive new client acquisition across Sydney and surrounding regions
2. Manage the full new-business lifecycle – from prospecting to proposal, close and handover
3. Build trusted, long-term relationships by understanding clients goals, technology challenges and growth goals
4. Work with pre-sales and technical teams to design tailored solutions across IT services, cyber security, managed print, and infrastructure
5. Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations
6. Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting and activity tracking in Salesforce
7. Provide insights to help shape sales strategy and marketing activity
8. Represent MicrotechDPS at client meetings, events and networking opportunities
