Senior Case Manager Role in Youth Justice
The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a dedicated professional to fill the position of Senior Case Manager.
This role will provide high-level case management and support services to complex, high-risk young people. The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge and experience in case management practice, particularly in coordinating rehabilitative interventions for young people with complex needs at high risk of offending in the community.
Main Responsibilities:
* Providing case management and support services to young people under youth justice supervised orders.
* Developing and implementing case plans that address the unique needs and circumstances of each young person.
* Collaborating with stakeholders, including families, schools, and community agencies, to ensure comprehensive support for young people.
* Maintaining accurate records and reporting on case progress and outcomes.
Requirements:
* A Bachelor of Social Work or Diploma in Community Services Work, with a focus on case management/casework practice and supervised practical work placements.
* Strong communication skills and ability to influence and negotiate with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
* Flexibility in working within a dynamic and evolving operating model.
