Community Development Officer Job
We are seeking a dynamic Community Development Officer to collaborate in the development and successful delivery of community programs and events across Alice Springs.
* Experience working in community development, event management or related field is necessary.
* Ability to plan, promote, deliver and evaluate community projects and events is required.
Responsibilities:
* Manage community events and initiatives.
* Effective staff management.
* Engage with key stakeholders.
* Collaborate across directorates.
* Prepare reports and presentations.
* Manage grant applications and acquittals.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, strong staff management experience and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience in managing meetings and consultative processes effectively and ability to demonstrate great organisation, problem solving and time management skills is desirable.
