Representing several major global brands, they are known for delivering innovative hardware solutions, strong technical support, and outstanding customer service.
They are now seeking a motivated and commercially focused Equipment Business Development Manager to join their Sydney team. this role is key to expanding their equipment portfolio, driving sales growth, and building strong relationships with key customers across the region.
Your new role
Drive sales and business development by actively sourcing new opportunities within the equipment sector and implementing strategic plans to meet revenue and market growth targets.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and partners, gaining a deep understanding of their needs and delivering tailored solutions that drive satisfaction and loyalty.
Represent multiple major brands within the company's portfolio, ensuring all activities align with brand standards and helping to increase product visibility and demand across the region.
Analyse market conditions by researching trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
Lead negotiations with clients and suppliers to secure favourable commercial terms while ensuring adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
Collaborate closely with the National Hardware Manager, service teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure sales strategies support broader business goals.
Monitor performance by tracking pipeline activity, sales outcomes, market insights, and customer feedback, using data to refine strategies and improve results.
Maintain a strong customer-service focus throughout the sales cycle.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the equipment or wide-format hardware industry.
Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Results-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalising on opportunities.
Knowledge of the Australian market and key industry players is highly desirable.
