* Ongoing Part-Time (Multiple Positions) working 11.25 hours per week (AHP2) working 31.8 hours per week (AHP3)
Social Workers are needed to work across both Lyell McEwin and Modbury Hospital sites within the Medical Subspecialties, Oncology, providing comprehensive assessment, intervention and discharge planning for inpatients and outpatients.
Responsibilities
* Deliver coordinated, interdisciplinary social work services that optimise patient wellbeing and health outcomes.
* Rotate through a variety of clinical services, broadening experience and clinical capability.
* Apply professional expertise to plan, implement and evaluate integrated, person‐centred care.
* Provide guidance and support to less experienced Social Workers, allied health assistants and students.
* Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary Allied Health team, liaising with medical, nursing and community agencies to ensure seamless care.
Qualifications and Experience
* Appointment at AHP2 or AHP3 classification, dependent on level of tertiary hospital experience and demonstrated supervision experience.
* For AHP3, required: 3+ years working in a tertiary hospital and evidence of supervising staff and students.
* Availability to work across a 7‐day week, including weekends and public holidays.
* Hold an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification giving eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
* Strong communication, problem‐solving, conflict‐resolution skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities with resilience and adaptability.

* National Police Check (National Police Certificate).
