We're looking for someone with a solid understanding of working with pop culture who is excited to help us grow our business by getting awesome licenced merch into new retailers & markets. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated, well organised, focused individual with great attention to detail, sound Sales & Account Management experience at a Key Account level, preferably within the Toy, Gift, Entertainment or Licensed Goods industry.

Job Description
Working collaboratively with the Sales team & Product Development team, your responsibility will be to manage and grow a broad portfolio of key retail accounts & product categories. You will develop great relationships based on trust & expertise with retailers in order to sell in the best products & brands for their market. You will be expected to manage them effectively to ensure smooth, efficient & profitable running of the accounts and make sure products land in store ready to maximise sales for the given season.
You will be a great fit if you thrive in leading face to face meetings, locally & interstate, and enjoy building rapport by picking up the phone to talk to buyers as often as is appropriate. You will work with the Sales & Product Development Team to understand & execute the business goals, sales strategy and priorities.
Actively seeking new business opportunities through product diversification and extensions to our client base. Working on Key accounts including (but not limited to); EB Games, JB HiFi, Aldi, Costco and Spotlight it is essential that you understand their needs in relations to communication, product lines, brands, seasonality & timing of submissions. You will be selling products categories such as Stationery, Drinkware, Desk Mats, Door Mats, Posters so experience in presenting product to buyers clearly, concisely & effectively is vital.
The role will involve:
* Exceeding targets for key accounts by maximising sales & ROI in existing retail accounts.
* Actioning sales strategies to capture new business opportunities within Australia & New Zealand.
* Preparing and delivering professional, succinct & effective sales presentations.
* Building and managing relationships with Head Office buyers across Australia. Negotiating and managing trading terms, pricing and promotional plans.
* Weekly analysis, monitoring & reporting of sales results for key retail account.
* Regular analysis on the ROI in each retail programme and management of product life cycle.
* Working with our operations team to manage in store executions and merchandising operations.
* Work with Product Development team to develop new product and offers specific to customer needs, movie and gaming releases or seasonal events such as Christmas and Father's Day.
* Some interstate and overnight travel will be required to attend meetings, trade shows and licensor presentations.
The Successful Applicant
You will have:
* Experience in managing major retail accounts across mass market and specialty retailers.
* Good organizational skills, attention to detail and goal orientated with a well-developed strategic focus.
* Must have the ability to identify & prioritise your workload to give the best return and focus your efforts in those areas.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with company-wide strategic growth plans.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Including the ability to negotiate, build trust & form strong relationships.
* Proficiency in creating and delivering professional sales presentations.
* The ability to be solutions-oriented to resolve product, pricing or merchandising challenges.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office – in particular Excel and PowerPoint
* The ability to work as part of a team, build on team dynamics and understand the needs of the other areas of the business.
* A keen interest in contemporary pop culture including movies, TV and music is favourable.
* Experience in the licensing, toy or gift industry is favourable.
* Most of all, a 'Can-Do' attitude, a smart, logical approach and being motivated to get real results is what we need.
