About The Role
Tronox is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to support pigment operations across Kwinana (Perth) and Bunbury, delivering a mix of site‐based support each week. Reporting to the Learning & Development Lead, you will coordinate and deliver L&D activities, assess maintenance capability, identify competency gaps, and partner with leaders to build targeted development plans. You will also plan and implement regional and site programs such as SAP and Operational Excellence, supporting compliance and continuous improvement.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Deliver classroom, on‐the‐job and digital training using existing materials; set clear learning outcomes and adapt delivery to audience needs.
* Assess maintenance/operations capability, identify competency gaps, and support competency‐based training plans and individual development pathways.
* Plan, coordinate and administer training activities, scheduling and records (including LMS management, reporting, and compliance).
* Evaluate training effectiveness, capture feedback, and implement improvements to increase impact and consistency.
* Support the design and development of learning solutions and materials, selecting appropriate tools/methods and considering cost and practicality.
* Deliver and support site and regional programs including SAP, Operational Excellence and foundational technical training (mechanical/electrical).
Qualifications and Experience
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessing (advantageous).
* Minimum of 4‐5 years in an operational training and development role in a similar industry.
* Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical disciplines.
* Proficient in SAP.
* Experience with Operational Excellence Programs (highly desirable).
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft tools.
* Strong communication and facilitation skills.
* Proficiency in creating training materials and using training tools and platforms.
* Ability to adapt training methods to different learning styles and audiences.
