The charity shop is an attractive retail space, it is a supportive environment for our volunteers and a safe place for those seeking assistance. Provide excellent customer service. Handle cash and card payments, cash up the till, and arrange a float.
Responsibilities
* Make everyone feel welcome.
* Handle cash and card payments, cash up the till, and arrange a float.
* Perceive, review and process donations from the public.
* Ensure the shop is well stocked and merchandise is displayed in an attractive manner.
* Keep the shop clean and tidy.
* There will be a varied amount of manual handling and physical activity required within the day-to-day duties.
Skills and Qualifications
* Previous paid experience in retail, sales or customer service.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Able to work on a rota system which will include Saturdays.
* Previous experience in fashion sales.
* Previous experience in shop merchandising.
* Previous experience working with volunteers.
