We are looking for an experienced Senior Ranger who is self-motivated, has strong customer service skills, and great attention to detail.
About the Opportunity:
You will be required to provide a high level of customer service to protect and enhance community amenities and public safety through enforcing relevant legislation. This position involves undertaking investigations and handling complex customer inquiries.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing training, guidance, motivation, and support to Rangers.
The Senior Ranger will also provide education, assistance, and advice to members of the public on City of Darwin By-Laws (including Animal Management).
You must demonstrate cultural competency, including experience engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples from culturally diverse population groups.
This role requires assisting in investigations, keeping accurate records, and aiding in data collation and analysis. Therefore, the successful applicant must have a high level of written and verbal communication skills.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you must hold the following licenses:
* Class C Drivers Licence
* Working with Children's Clearance or the ability to obtain prior to commencement
* Certificate IV in Government Investigations or the ability to obtain within 6 months
* Minimum three (3) years of regulatory services experience
* National Police Records Check
