The Role
Seeking an experienced Auto Electrician or Trades Assistant (TA) with Auto Electrical experience to join our Ballarat team. Work on new builds and custom emergency vehicles, performing electrical fit-out, diagnostics, and fault‐finding.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete electrical fit‐out from drawings (harness rough‐in, termination, programming, approvals).
* Test and verify electrical systems on vehicles.
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults.
* Install electrical components on specialised vehicles.
Requirements
* Trade‐qualified Auto Electrician OR TA with automotive electrical background.
* Skilled in fault‐finding and interpreting circuit diagrams.
* Follow safe work practices.
* Ability to read technical drawings.
* Team player with strong attention to detail.
* Physically capable to perform repetitive tasks – lifting, bending, twisting.
* Able to pass pre‐employment medical and D&A testing.
