Head Office & Personal Secretary to A/Professor Ramesh Balasubramaniam OAM

Support a leading specialist and our leadership team

We're looking for someone who's organised, adaptable, and enjoys variety in their work.

In this role, you'll be the right-hand support to A/Professor Ramesh Balasubramaniam OAM — a respected specialist in Oral Medicine, Orofacial Pain and Dental Sleep Medicine — while also helping our head office and leadership team keep everything running smoothly.

About the role

You'll handle a mix of personal secretary duties for A/Prof. Ramesh and general office administration. One day you might be arranging travel or preparing a presentation, the next you could be processing invoices in Xero or assisting with a training program at UWA. It's a role with plenty of variety, and no two days will be the same.

What you'll be doing:


• Managing emails, appointments and meetings for A/Prof. Ramesh Balasubramaniam


• Assisting with presentations, academic work and teaching activities at UWA


• Processing accounts payable and data entry in Xero


• Supporting the leadership team with projects and admin tasks


• Helping maintain professional profiles and social media pages (LinkedIn, Facebook)


• General office duties — correspondence, filing, and keeping things organised

What we're looking for:


• Someone who can handle confidential information with discretion


• Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle priorities


• Confident using Microsoft Office, and social media platforms. Xero experience preferred but happy to train for the right candidate


• Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal


• Great attention to detail and a willingness to pitch in where needed
