About our client
Our client is the original supplier of steel reinforcement to the Australian construction industry. Proudly Australian since 1920, all of their steel products remain 100% Australian made with international quality assurance and compliance with Australian standards.
What you will be doing
They are currently seeking a Factory Hand to join their team out of their Ballina yard. This is a Monday–Friday position commencing at 7am working 8‐hour days. You will be trained and responsible for the following duties;
* Welding steel
* Loading steel onto trucks using the forklift
* Loading steel onto pallets
* Packing products (mainly steel) as per an order sheet
* Operate machines to manufacture reinforcing bars
* Maintain cleanliness of the factory
The successful candidate will be required to pass a drug and alcohol screening.
What you will need
* Drivers Licence + reliable transport
* High Risk Forklift Ticket (desirable but not mandatory)
* Physically Fit
* Ability to pass a PEM/D&A
