About the role
This position requires a candidate with strong administrative support skills, excellent word processing, Microsoft application proficiency, and high-level communication skills. Key responsibilities include:
* Provide high-standard administrative support, including document preparation, scheduling, and data management.
* Maintain data integrity in patient information systems, ensuring accurate and timely information.
* Work autonomously, prioritise tasks, resolve conflicts, and organise meetings and appointments.
* Communicate professionally with staff, patients, and the public.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated high standard of administrative support, high level of word processing skills and knowledge of Microsoft software applications.
* Demonstrated high level of interpersonal written and oral communication skills and ability to liaise with all levels of the private and public sectors on a range of confidential and sensitive issues.
* Maintain a high level of data integrity in patient information systems; recognising decision making in clinical and management settings depends on accurate, timely, relevant, complete, concise, and readily accessible information.
* Ability to work autonomously and utilise discretion in the absence of decision makers; skills to resolve conflict, meet deadlines, establish work priorities, organise meetings and appointments, and exceptional organisation and prioritisation skills.
* Sound communication skills to interact professionally and sensitively with all levels of staff, patients, and the general public.
