Job Summary
An Assistant Director is responsible for leading a small team of analysts to produce high-quality and accurate costings.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our organization and contribute to delivering outcomes. As an Assistant Director, you will exercise strong leadership and high-level judgment to support your team in interpreting policy and applying costing practices and processes.
You will undertake independent assessments and make evidence-based decisions to provide strategic advice on cost estimates and Cabinet Submissions. Additionally, you will support process reform, simplification, and improvement of our costings methodology, work practices, and costing system.
We are seeking a motivated and talented individual who can lead our Costings teams in producing high-quality costings. You will have excellent coordination, stakeholder management skills, and be able to coach, supervise, and provide strategic direction to staff in a fast-paced environment.
The role also includes identifying activity-based costs associated with our operations and undertaking complex research into new and changed business processes and supporting IT systems.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, ICT, Actuarial Economics, or an accounting related discipline.
* CPA/CA or working towards is highly regarded.
