A well-established WHS consultancy in Sydney is looking for a Certified Occupational Hygienist (COH) to join their team in a senior capacity. With a new Business Development Manager driving larger, high-profile projects, this is an exciting time to be part of the business. You'll work alongside a team of skilled consultants, shaping workplace health outcomes, mentoring others, and building strong client relationships across diverse industries.
About the Role
In this role, you'll lead major occupational hygiene projects across sectors such as resources, energy, manufacturing, and infrastructure. You'll be the technical lead, ensuring projects meet the highest standards, while mentoring junior consultants and helping the team grow their skills. You'll have the opportunity to influence workplace health strategies, deliver practical and evidence-based recommendations, and collaborate with clients to achieve real-world outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading occupational hygiene risk assessments, monitoring, and exposure evaluations
Preparing detailed technical reports with practical recommendations for clients
Providing specialist advice on health hazards, compliance, and risk management
Mentoring and developing junior consultants, promoting best practice across the team
Building and maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to business growth
Who We're Looking For
Certified Occupational Hygienist (COH) with AIOH full membership, or working towards it
Proven occupational hygiene consulting experience in NSW
Technical expertise in exposure assessment, ventilation, hazardous substances, and health risk evaluation
Strong project management skills with a client-focused approach
Natural mentor and leader with a passion for developing others and promoting a positive team culture
