The role of Team Leader is suited to a proactive individual who is looking to take the next step in their career to take on leadership duties and responsibilities. We are responsible for delivering a variety of projects across numerous disciplines and sectors of all sizes.
As a Team Leader, you will be directly responsible for the management and strategic direction of all aspects of our team. You will need to provide local staff with your expertise to manage project performance and overall quality while ensuring that staff health and wellbeing is well prioritized.
You will enjoy a diverse position and will need to have the ability to multitask and share your time between project involvement, business development, and management responsibilities. The suitable candidate will have a dynamic history of project delivery and management.
* Management of current and future workloads within our team to achieve targets.
* Support and guidance to Project Leads and Engineers to enable them to perform successfully at all levels.
* Ensure that the team maintains an appropriate level of service to key Clients.
* Design, documentation and construction phase activities including project review, liaison with client and consultant team, liaison with authorities, reporting, contract administration and quality audits.
* Facilitate knowledge sharing and engage with colleagues within this business unit.
* Adhere to professional standards, ethics and quality procedures.
* Contribute to our company culture.
* Project Management and Proposal/Pursuit experience are desired.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Be a Registered Professional Engineer or equivalent registration.
Previous experience in a Consulting environment within Land, Urban and Subdivisions.
Strong client relationships.
Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards.
Experience in the development of Performance Solutions.
Competence and effort in managing risk exposure.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
