Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in an artisanal baking environment
* Strong knowledge in sourdough craft
* Organisational and communication skills
* Problem-solving skills and an eye for detail
* Willingness to work in a dynamic and growing business
* Ability to adapt to flexible schedules, including nights and weekends
Responsibilities
* Working with our growing team to produce sourdough bread. This includes core baking skills of mixing, kneading, shaping, scoring, and baking
* Ensuring the best quality by following our processes and assessing final products
* Assisting with weekly production planning for bread and pastry
* Working independently to operate the baking equipment, such as oven-loader and setter, ovens, mixers, dough divider, dough breaker, and provers
* Ensuring compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations
* Ensuring the equipment and premises are clean before starting the baking process.
