Head of Customer, Marketing & Communications

Location: Milton, Queensland  
Employment Type: Full-time, fixed term 12-month contract

Are you a visionary leader who can build brand profile, drive demand for services that change lives and lead a team powering bold organisational growth? Lutheran Services is seeking a dynamic Head of Customer, Marketing & Communications to elevate our reputation, strengthen our market presence and accelerate our growth strategy.

As a key senior leader within Corporate Support Services, you’ll guide the strategy that positions Lutheran Services as a preferred partner in aged care and community services. You’ll shape how we show up, how we’re known, and how we grow with integrity as we embark on an ambitious plan to double in size over the next five years.

About the Role  

You will:

* Lead brand, marketing, sales, communications, stakeholder engagement and fundraising strategy
* Drive demand and growth through strategic marketing and business development
* Shape organisational reputation through proactive media and issues management
* Build influence across government, industry, community and internal audiences
* Lead communications that support operational outcomes and enable organisational change
* Champion an exceptional customer experience that sets us apart
* Oversee fundraising and partnerships to diversify revenue streams
* Lead and inspire a high performing multidisciplinary team.

Reporting to the Executive Director – Corporate Support Services, this role is central to delivering our 2025–2030 Strategic Plan and positioning Lutheran Services as an innovative, sustainable and thriving provider of aged care and community services.

About You  

You’re a strategic, creative and commercially savvy leader who knows how to build brands people trust, communicate with impact and deliver marketing that drives demand. You thrive in complex environments, lead with purpose and bring energy to growth and transformation.

You’ll bring:

* Senior leadership experience in customer, marketing or communications
* Experience delivering brand, marketing and communications strategies
* Proven expertise in reputation and issues management
* Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
* Strong leadership capability across multidisciplinary teams
* Strategic thinking, analytical strength and commercial acumen.

Experience in human services, aged care or community services is a bonus.
