About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Foodservice State Sales Manager, you will be primarily accountable for achieving budgeted sales targets and development of effective sales strategies within a defined metropolitan sales territory. The territory region covers Melbourne's North, North East and North West regions.
Responsibilities
* Managing and meeting with your existing client portfolio
* Identifying and securing new business opportunities within your territory
* Infiltrate and increase product categories and ranges within your customers
* Managing the relationships with the distribution network
* Conducting sales presentations, coordinating promotions, merchandising & product development
* Planning sales activities and reporting on customer performance
* Providing market information and feedback to management
Qualifications
You will have previous Sales experience within the Food Service and/or FMCG industry ideally with experience selling to QSR, Hotels, Restaurants/Cafes, Hospitals and Industrial sectors. You will have previous success in managing and growing a sales territory and strong skills in Business Development and Account Management.
The successful candidate will be results driven and have demonstrated business acumen with a view to providing the best possible results for the company as well as adding value to the customers' business. You will need to be highly organised, self‐motivated, responsible and accountable.
