The position

Kick-start your career in Human Resources with a role that's more than just a job — it's your first step into a professional future.

We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic HR Trainee ready to learn, grow and make a real impact. In this hands-on entry-level opportunity, you'll gain practical experience supporting day-to-day HR operations while working towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Business.

Working closely with our HR team, you'll build valuable skills in recruitment support, onboarding coordination, record keeping, leave management and workplace communication.

Responsibilities

* Provide administrative support to the HR team, including filing, data entry, document preparation, emailing, scanning documents and maintaining employee records.
* Assist with recruitment activities such as scheduling interviews, conducting pre-screen interviews and coordinating candidate communications.
* Support onboarding processes, including preparing new starter paperwork and employee files.
* Help maintain HR systems and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of information.
* Prepare basic correspondence, reports and HR documentation as directed.
* Respond to general HR enquiries and direct employees or stakeholders to the appropriate team members.
* Follow workplace policies, procedures and safe work practices.
* Actively participate in Certificate III in Business training and complete required coursework and assessments.

* Friendly, professional, and confident communicating with stakeholders
* Can follow work instructions
* Has a willingness to learn and develop new skills
* Can manage competing priorities in a busy office environment.
