We are seeking an accomplished Service Delivery Manager to lead a large team in delivering mission-critical application services for the Core Banking platform.
This is a pivotal role in a high-profile transformation program where you will be responsible for exceptional business-as-usual (BAU) delivery, while managing both onshore and offshore teams, overseeing key delivery dates, and building strong relationships with senior stakeholders. Your ability to balance BAU priorities with project milestones will be crucial to success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of 45 across application platforms, consisting of 2–3 direct reports
* Deliver BAU services to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and drive major business projects
* Manage project schedules, risks, resources, and budgets to ensure seamless delivery
* Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and customer stakeholders
* Guarantee that transformation program outcomes are delivered on time and within budget
Mandatory Skills and Experience:
* A minimum of 5-8 years' experience in Service Delivery Management or Project Management, preferably as an SDM
* Demonstrated record of running Managed Services agenda with expertise in run, change, and applications
* Experience working directly with customers or from a consultancy/managed service business supporting end customers
* Application management experience
* Strong stakeholder management skills
* Demonstrated record of successful project delivery
* Leadership skills, including people and team management
* Ability to work on multiple project assignments simultaneously
* Strong leadership, verbal, and written communication skills
* Disciplined and organized approach
* Eagerness to learn, good initiative, and flexibility
Nice to Have Skills and Experience:
* A minimum of 5-10 years' experience in Project Management in a Banking Finance Domain
* Core banking expertise
* Solid knowledge of the Banking and Finance industry
