What We're Looking For
We are seeking apprentice technicians who have a technical aptitude, are motivated to learn, and are well presented.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with problem-solving and unfamiliar situations, and will support the team to work on various tasks covering yacht engine, transmissions, electricals, and running gear.
Responsibilities
* Support technicians testing and troubleshooting marine engines and electrical systems
* Learn to perform service and repair on engines, transmissions, and running gear
* Learn to make professional documentation of service records and repairs
Requirements
* Working towards or interest in a trade qualification as a marine mechanic or diesel mechanic
* Desire to develop strong hands-on technical skills
* Curiosity to learn about boats and engines and to develop problem-solving skills
* A detail-oriented and proactive work ethic
* Good verbal and written communication
* Ability to work with the team and independently on tasks
* Promote values of customer orientation, safety, quality, and innovation
