About Melbourne Sexual Health Centre The Melbourne Sexual Health Centre (MSHC), part of Alfred Specialty Medicine at Alfred Health, is a specialised unit for diagnosing and treating sexually transmissible infections (STIs). Located in Carlton, MSHC is renowned for clinical excellence, innovation, research, and education. It offers screening, testing, counselling, information, referral, health education, and clinical management of STIs including HIV/AIDS and hepatitis C. The staff of approximately 100 includes administrative support, ICT, Counsellors, Doctors, Nurses, Researchers, and postgraduate students. The Role A Client Service Officer at MSHC provides comprehensive administrative support to the clinical team and clients. Responsibilities include reception, appointments, switchboard, COVID-19 screening, data entry, medical records management, client communication, billing, and supporting clinical and research staff.
