About the Role

In this full‐time, in‐office role based in Churchlands WA 6018, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the product offering and driving success for our growing business. What you'll be doing
* Strategically select and procure a wide range of high‐quality grocery products to meet customer demands.
* Negotiate favourable terms with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and profit margins.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
* Analyse sales data and customer feedback to make informed buying decisions.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional campaigns.
* Manage relationships with key suppliers and oversee the order fulfilment process.
* Mentor and guide more junior members of the buying team.
What we're looking for
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Senior Buyer or similar role in the retail or consumer products industry.
* Proven track record of successful category management and supplier negotiations.
* Excellent commercial acumen and financial management skills.
* Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities to drive strategic decision‐making.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships.
* Highly organised with the ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines.
* Relevant tertiary qualification in a business or supply‐chain discipline.
