About the Job
The primary purpose of this position is to operate MC and HC trucks as used by our organization. You will be responsible for transporting goods locally and on long-haul routes, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
* Efficiently operate MC and HC trucks
* Complete all necessary documentation, including cartage dockets and service requests
* Follow company procedures and guidelines
* Take good care of vehicles and equipment under your control
* Ensure compliance with fatigue management and loading requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A valid Multi-Combination (MC) Driver's license
* A valid Heavy-Combination (HC) Driver's license
* Experience driving heavy bulk vehicles and other machinery
* Knowledge of applicable safety and environmental legislation
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Good communication and customer service skills
