About the role:

The Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) will help drive a new era of computing Client PC/Workstation, by engaging with the Channel partners to demonstrate how technology can be used to address the needs of their business. The TSS is responsible for providing technical support for the targeted end customer accounts with a special focus on pre-sales and development support activity as opportunities transition from opportunity to deployment. Post-sales technical support is also required as the account encounters technical issues.  The TSS is also responsible for engaging with the Client PC/Workstation partners in Australia, OEM leads, as well as System integrators (SIs) as needed.

The key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

* Alongside Sales, be a primary contact point in customer engagements, evangelising data centre CPU, GPU and Client PC/Workstation CPU, GPU technologies/products and capabilities

* Develop technical relationships with target Channel partners accounts and OEM partners

* Win new Data Centre opportunities by working with OEMs and Channel partners by establishing technical solutions based on technology

* Work with internal teams across Business Units to build technical presentations and documentation to be delivered in the field

* Improve ability to support customers by driving feedback into BU and engineering teams

About you:

This position requires the TSS to have a broad technical understanding of Client PC/Workstation (and Client CPU, GPU platform architecture and the development process) needed to successfully win Server and Client PC/Workstation with Channel partners:

* A minimum 5 years' experience in presales or technical marketing capacity
* Passion about technology and how it can impact day-to-day operations and bring competitive advantage to the operators
* Someone who has worked professionally with brands such as HP, Dell and Lenovo (not a pre-requisite however highly regarded)
* Some experience working with Ai (not a pre-requisite however highly regarded)
* Being able to work in a team environment and autonomously

What's on offer:

* An attractive remuneration, inclusive of $88,000 base, plus commissions plus super plus travel allowance (OTE up to $125,000)
* Initially a 12-month fixed term contract with the possibility for extension
