Job Description
As a Laboratory Technician based in Koolan Island you will be responsible for the quality of preparation and analysis of designated samples during your shift. This is a FIFO positions with a 2&1 roster.
Some other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Understand the processes of sample preparation and analysis of samples by XRF.
* Day to day upkeep of analytical and sample preparation equipment.
* Delivery of quality samples to both internal and external customers.
* Understand assay methods and recognition of sample types.
Qualifications
The successful person will have:
* Experience in a similar laboratory environment.
* Experience in sample preparation.
* Current drivers licence.
* Experience in fusion XRF (desirable).
* Laboratory based qualification or similar, in a related field preferred.
