Overview Join to apply for the Dentist role at SercoPermanent Part Time role based in Enoggera, Brisbane, within ADF Health Services delivering on-base dental care to Australian Defence Force personnel.About Us ADF Health Services provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia.
As part of this contract, Serco, in partnership with Bupa, provides defence-ready clinical and support staff across 50+ on-base locations nationally, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality on-site medical care.About The Role You will be responsible for the provision of dental services to patients, including emergency treatments, general examinations and preventative treatments, restorations, minor oral surgical procedures, x-rays, extractions, root canal treatments and design/management of prosthodontics.
In this role you will liaise with the senior dental officer (depending on clinic size), medical officers, nursing officers, and specialist dental providers where needed to provide comprehensive dental care.
You will promote and maintain positive oral health of personnel in accordance with Defence Policies and Procedures, ensuring patients are dentally fit for deployment.
This is a Permanent Part Time role working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.To Be Successful In This Role, You Will HaveAustralian Citizenship or Commonwealth Security Clearance purposesCurrent unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Dentist, General with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Minimum 2 years full-time post graduate clinical chair-side experience within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent).
Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA.About Enoggera Health Centre Enoggera Health Centre is located at Gallipoli Barracks in Brisbane, and provides support to Gallipoli, Victoria, Bulimba, and Damascus Barracks.
The health centre provides primary medical, dentistry, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical services.
This facility operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The standard operating hours are generally Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements).
