About the Role: MMT Recruitment is working in collaboration with our client, a well-established not-for-profit disability service provider in South West Sydney, to find an experienced Psychologist. In this role, you'll provide psychological and behaviour support services to school-aged children, young people and adults with disabilities, their families and carers. Working within a person-centred approach, you'll conduct assessments, develop intervention programs, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions under the NDIS framework. Key Responsibilities: Manage a diverse caseload of people with disabilities presenting with complex needs and challenging behaviours Conduct psychometric and psychological assessments to determine functioning levels, strengths and areas of need Develop, implement, monitor and review individualised intervention programs aligned with NDIS goals Provide behaviour support services in line with best practice guidelines and the NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Framework Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including support coordinators, disability support workers and families Contribute to the planning, development and evaluation of allied health service operations Skills and Qualifications: Recognised Degree in Psychology with full or Provisional registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain prior to employment) Current NSW Driver's Licence Current NSW Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain prior to employment) Experience: Demonstrated experience working with people with disabilities with complex needs, including dual diagnosis Experience with specialised and complex intervention strategies Proven experience working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and in partnership with other services Current understanding of issues, trends and approaches in disability service provision Knowledge of relevant legislation including the Disability Inclusion Act 2014 Strong conceptual, problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to interpret clinical data Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experience (Health Professional & Support Services Award Level 2-3) $6,000 annual vehicle allowance $3,000 annual CPD allowance 2 weeks CPD Leave Salary packaging options Flexible work arrangements Administrative support Professional development opportunities and career growth More About Our Client: Our client is a well-established not-for-profit organization operating in South West Sydney since 1987, with a mission of creating new possibilities in people's lives.
