The Office of the Executive Director People, Capability and Culture are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to oversee key branch operations for a period of 3 months with the possibility of extension.
The Senior Executive Officer role provides human resource, financial and operational services and advice to the Executive Director, serving as a key liaison within the Corporate Services portfolio. The role is responsible for supporting recruitment, onboarding, HR establishment, monthly budget oversight, and corporate reporting, while ensuring high-quality service delivery and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will bring communication and leadership skills, knowledge of financial management and high-volume correspondence coordination experience.
* Provide human resource, financial and operational services and advice to the Executive Director, serving as a key liaison within the Corporate Services portfolio
* Actively review and manage work priorities and deadlines
* Work autonomously, using a high level of initiative and exercising self-motivation to understand and resolve issues
* Lead a high-performing administration team (2), overseeing workflow, performance and professional development
* Manage multiple high-volume, multifaceted inboxes and calendar schedules to maximise productivity
* Review, prioritise and delegate a diverse range of sensitive and confidential projects, ensuring discreet management of information and processes
* Oversee end to end recruitment, using Springboard and the QSS portal for all branch onboarding, separations and staff movements
* Coordinate a high-volume of correspondence and inter-department briefing notes for senior management consideration and input
* Manage monthly budget forecasts and financial reporting (SAP awareness)
* Coordinate governance and operational reporting, ensuring adherence to relevant delegations and timeframes
