We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead our branch operations and drive business growth. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, mentoring your team, and building strong relationships with customers.
Main Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage branch operations with a focus on safety, compliance, and service excellence
* Inspire and guide your team, fostering a culture of accountability and professionalism
* Drive performance through clear KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives
* Build trusted relationships with customers, resolving issues with confidence and care
* Mentor and develop the skills of your team members, ensuring they have the necessary tools to succeed
* Champion safety and compliance across all aspects of the operation, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
* Identify opportunities for efficiency and growth, working closely with the leadership team to implement strategic plans
About You:
* Proven leadership experience in transport, logistics, or depot/branch management
* Strong knowledge of transport regulations, safety standards, and operational compliance
* A hands-on, people-first approach to leadership, with a focus on developing the skills of your team members
* Financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and driving business growth
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
* Forklift Licence – mandatory
* HR Licence or willingness to obtain (we'll support you with training)
* Tech-savvy, with experience using logistics systems and MS Office applications
