Summary:
The Assistant Manager at Rosehall Aggregation plays a crucial role in supporting the management team to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position is essential for maintaining the standards of our business and fostering a positive work environment. The Assistant Manager will assist in overseeing daily activities, managing staff, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity, assisting with new project development and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in the management of daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the Rosehall Aggregation.
* Assisting in all facets of livestock husbandry.
* Supervise and train staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management.
* Implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance and operational efficiency including leading Work Place Health and Safety initiatives.
* Assist in data entry, feed budgeting and assessing nutritional requirements.
* Manage Biosecurity and weed infestations.
* Opportunity for Equine management but not essential.
* Foster a positive team environment and promote effective communication among staff.
Qualifications and Key Attributes:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience, 2 years in leadership roles.
* Proven experience in a supervisory or management role,
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient Livestock and farm management
* Degree qualified or Trades highly regarded.
* Curious and life long learner.
* Ability to adapt and apply new technology, ideas and skills.
* Strong organisational skills and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
