About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tool Store Operator to join our team based in Osborne, SA.
You will be responsible for delivering all services within the Operator Trade Group role, including tasks requiring high-risk licenses, to support successful project delivery across the shipyard.
* Ensure that services align with the manufacturing plan and meet or exceed quality/technical standards.
* Perform only tasks you are qualified and competent to do, including those requiring high-risk licenses.
* Collaborate with the Manager to ensure all equipment is certified, tested, and safely maintained.
* Support safety and housekeeping by reporting maintenance issues and maintaining organized work areas.
* Oversee tooling and consumables: issue to production teams, monitor stock levels, and report needs.
About You
* You must hold and maintain the appropriate licenses for operating equipment and performing tasks within the shipyard.
* Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of your role with accountability for outcomes and performance.
* Strong communication skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
* Committed to safety and contributing to a safe and compliant work environment.
* Reliable time management and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office desirable), with flexibility to support shift work as required.
* Experience within a Defence or Naval or Shipbuilding environment.
