About the Role
We are seeking an organised and motivated Product Development Coordinator to support the end-to-end product development process, working closely with the Design Manager to ensure timelines, quality standards, and brand requirements are met for Fila retail and wholesale apparel. In this role, you will:
* Assist with design sketching and development of seasonal wholesale ranges
* Support the creation of garment graphics in line with brand direction and guidelines
* Source and coordinate fabrics and trims, liaising with suppliers as required
* Prepare and maintain design development line lists to support supplier costing processes
* Assist in the creation and maintenance of tech packs and art packs to ensure accurate production execution
* Manage and maintain the JPEG design library, ensuring all assets meet brand compliance requirements
* Assist in fit sessions and help communicate fit comments and amendments to factories when required
* Support lab dip and print strike-off reviews and approvals
* Provide general administrative support to the design team as needed
What We're Looking For
* Garment sketching skills, including technical sketches
* Solid understanding of garment construction
* Good fabric knowledge, including fabric sourcing experience
* Experience sourcing trims
* Ability to set up and maintain tech packs, including garment measurements
* Experience creating graphic art packs
* Some level of graphic design capability
* Experience working with an overseas supplier base
* A sound understanding of garment costing
* Works well under pressure, and a can- do attitude
* Skilled in Abode creative suite, Excel and Word
