Key Responsibilities
* Undertake scheduled, planned and corrective maintenance to fixed plant and machinery with the focus on preventing downtime and keeping equipment running smoothly and reliably.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to maintain optimal production output.
* Familiar with different types of couplings.
* Replace conveyor gearbox, motor and pulley couplings and bearings.
* Carry out repair action required to manufacturer's specifications and relevant Australian standards.
* Isolate equipment and follow strict safety and maintenance procedures.
* Conduct mechanical fitting, welding, and basic fabrication work.
* Assist with the installation, commissioning, and upgrades of machinery.
* Record accurate maintenance tasks and reports.
* Contribute to continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.
* Uphold high standards of safety, housekeeping, and waste minimization.
Essential Requirements for role
* 24 months minimum solid experience with fixed plant maintenance, conveyor system maintenance preferable.
* Reliable and take pride of the work.
* Experienced in Hydraulic tech, GBX, motor, pulley replacement/refurbishment in conveyor system.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Full Australian Work Rights.
* Mechanical Trade Qualification (Minimum of Cert III in Engineering - Mechanical).
* White Card, Working at Heights, Confined Space.
* Ability to provide a satisfactory National Police Check certificate.
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment & DAS.
* High risk licence: EWP, LF, DG, IR, CN or Overhead crane.
* Days, Nights and Weekends Available.
