**About the Role**
As the Principal of Education Development, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting the growth and development of our Adult Community Education & Alesco College - High School operations and fulfilling the philosophy throughout.
The Principal of Education Development will work closely and effectively with the Executive Director and Senior Leadership team to establish Development opportunities.

**About the focus of this position**
- Business Planning - Vocational, Industry Trends, Secondary School Development.
- Research and Assessment of Demography and Community needs.
- Research and Assessment of Demography and Community needs (online consideration).
- Research and Assessment Geographic Placement of new campuses.
- Research and Assessment of Competitor Analysis.
- Budget Planning and Forecasting People, Systems and Operations for potential business decisions
- Establish new campuses.
- Grant research and assessment.
- Embed the philosophy within the organisation.
- Embed operational practices (minimum 12 week on site establishment -1 year full all Term cycle support.
- Pathway planning.
- Talent attraction, recruitment, and selection of new staff in consultation with People and Culture team and Principal Alesco.
- Networking.
- Conduct longitudinal research post school/college engagement regarding trends analysis and consideration for suture planning.
**About You**
- Senior management or leadership experience in a school or other education setting ideal.
- You will be able to demonstrate sound, professional and effective intentional leadership skills.
- A passion for working in alternative education and appreciation of the needs of at risk young people.
- Demonstrated understanding of strengths based practice; solutions focused.
