Our client, one of Australia's leading events management companies based in Toowoomba, is seeking a full-time Marketing Manager to join their well
- established, growing business.
Reporting to the General Manager and managing a small team of marketing specialists, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the marketing, media and communications strategy for the business.
**Applicants for this vacancy should possess the following skills, qualities and experience**:
- A Bachelor level qualification (or equivalent and experience) with a major in Marketing, Media, or Digital Strategy (desirable but not essential)
- At least two (2) year's experience as a Marketing Manager.
- Demonstrated success in developing and delivering comprehensive marketing and internal and external communications strategies and plans
- Demonstrated management and leadership experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in electronic marketing automation software such as HubSpot marketing
- The ability to think strategically and the skills to plan and measure advertising campaigns
- An understanding of Digital Marketing, including Content Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Search Engine Optimisation, EDM Marketing, and Website Optimisation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement a Marketing and Communications Strategy and Plan for the business
- Implement and develop a Media and Sponsorship Strategy and Plan
- Create and monitor an EDM strategy
- Generate new business leads
- Developing and managing the marketing department's budget
- Coordinate and direct workflow in relation to the Marketing and Media and Sponsorship Plans
- Manage and coordinate all advertising campaigns, including digital marketing
- Lead a professional team to meet and deliver organisational strategy and goals
- Drive continuous improvement and growth through ongoing monitoring, evaluation and improvement
- Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future events
- Communicate with senior management about marketing initiatives and project metrics, as well as brainstorm fresh strategies
- Track digital marketing campaigns across the Google Marketing Platform, Instagram, and Facebook.
